Reviews and Giveaway Policy
We cannot guarantee you will get business from doing a review/giveaway. Results vary depending on product/business, viewers, and time of year and a number of other factors.
Smart and Trendy Moms does not accept payment for reviews however we do ask for a non-returnable sample of the product in order to review the product thoroughly and honestly.
At your request, as a courtesy, we will send a copy of the review of your product to the email address you provide 24 hours prior to posting. This is intended to give you an opportunity to correct any misconceptions regarding your product. We do not accept changes or alterations to the reviews with the exception of correction of spellings or link URLs. If we have a misconception or misunderstanding of your product or how it works, please inform us at this time, and we will take any necessary steps to correct that and re-review the product.
We generally will not post a review of a product we had a negative experience with. Requests for giveaways are requests only, we cannot guarantee that we will do a review on your product. This is usually in the best interest of all parties involved, as it is our policy to find smart and trendy products for our readers, not to give negative reviews of products we don't like. We also reserve the right to decline any products that are not appropriate for review on the site.
We are able to review a variety of products intended for babies, kids and/or families. Our "product testers" are male and female ranging in age from 1 year through adult.
Although not required, we suggest that companies offer to sponsor a giveaway with the review in order to maximize their product’s exposure. The sponsoring company is responsible for sending out the giveaway prize to the winner. Reviews are generally posted within 30 days of receiving and testing the product if not sooner.
Ad Space
STM does accept sponsored ads on our website. We have two ad-space areas on our website - Premium ads and standard ads. Ad size is 125 x 125 pixels. If you wish to discuss alternate sizes please contact us. Ads are limited to static images. Animated ads are not allowed. We offer 1 month and 3-month contract periods.
