Melissa is the creative mind behind californiablue. Her jewelry is fresh and casual representing the laid back lifestyle of Northern California. Her jewelry is beautiful and she has many different pieces that are totally affordable. Here is a little but from Melissa.
*My name is Melissa Lisbon and I live with my husband and 2 cats in Northern California. I came up with the name of “californiablue” for my Etsy shop given that where I live is my greatest inspiration. Having grown up on the East Coast, I still am amazed at the uniquely beautiful geography, plant life and California light that surrounds me. I aspire to capture some of this beauty in my jewelry designs while at the same time keeping the designs casual and affordable. I tend toward the “less is more” approach with my designs giving deference to the shape and color of the beads I use. Through my jewelry, I try to represent a certain joie de vivre California style.
