*My name is Melissa Lisbon and I live with my husband and 2 cats in Northern California. I came up with the name of “californiablue” for my Etsy shop given that where I live is my greatest inspiration. Having grown up on the East Coast, I still am amazed at the uniquely beautiful geography, plant life and California light that surrounds me. I aspire to capture some of this beauty in my jewelry designs while at the same time keeping the designs casual and affordable. I tend toward the “less is more” approach with my designs giving deference to the shape and color of the beads I use. Through my jewelry, I try to represent a certain joie de vivre California style.
