Beans Things Collaboration Pendant Giveaway (Ends2/17)
I am finding it more and more important to take care of our earth and surroundings. I am even more inspired when I see someone who also cares about our earth and with Jeanna from Beans Things that is very apparent. She makes wonderful nature inspired jewelry, and one of a kind pieces from up-cycled paper. Beans Things not only has jewelry which I love but also other items that are totally fun with that earth friendly touch.

BeansThings….for many many years, my family has called me Jeanna (pronounced “Gina”) Beanna…and then it got shortened to Bean Bean or just Bean….so it was only fitting that my shop be called BeansThings!
I have been creating since I was a child. At a very young age I was made aware of the impact that we have not only on our environment, but to our earth’s animals too. I hold these two causes dear to my heart. A few years into my marriage, my husband joined the U.S. Army as a combat medic. He was injured and subsequently medically retired…but I hold a special place in my heart for our soldiers and their families truly making sacrifices for our Country.
As mentioned in my shop announcement, almost all of my images I use are up-cycled from various printed venues. Therefore, most are one-of-a kind items. I constantly keep my eye out for anything that I think would make a great pendant or magnet set. When I find something that works, it is like Christmas morning for me! I choose each image thoughtfully and spend much time on each item from start to finish. I am flexible with custom orders and encourage them.
I am a mom of a two year old boy who keeps me on my toes. We live in Northern Arizona…where the landscape and critters add to my creativity.

This DeadpanAlley drawing was originally done in Staedtler Lumocolor
and other inks. It is titled “BEATRIX AND HER KNEES”. The art featured
under glass is a print of the original.
The rectangle used for this piece measures 1″ Tall x 5/8″ Wide – 1/4″
Thick. The back has been finished with card stock and sealed with
liquid glass. A small Aanraku sterling silver plated bail is attached.
A ball chain is included with this piece.
