Whether its a favorite saying, a motivational quote, wall art, or a family name, I love the look of wall decals. They personalize your space so much more than just a plain painted wall or a picture. Wall decals are adhesive vinyl that you apply to your walls or other surfaces. Another great thing about their wall decals is that while they look like they were painted on by an artist, they are totally easy to apply and totally removable.
Trading Phrases is a great place to find wall decals. They have lots of pre-designed decals and they also do custom work too. They offer lots of colors and have cute designs for all the rooms in the house. I got a chance to try one of their decals and chose a small decal that says “believe in yourself” with cute butterflies around it. I put it over the computer desk that the kids and I share. I totally love it!
The decal arrived in a tube which kept it in great shape and came with a plastic applictor to help put it on the wall. It was also great that in addition to instructions, Trading Phrases sends a “trial design” to work with so that you can practice applying a decal correctly before you work with your actual decal. I thought that was very nice since with these kinds of things I am always a bit concerned about messing it up. After the trial, I was totally comfortable applying the design without worrying about ruining it. And I think it came out great!

I probably could have spent all day browsing that site, I have tons of ideas now for possible decorations in the future. The one I like the best was http://www.tradingphrases.com/item_2470/Two-Roads-Diverged-Wall-Decals.htm , because I know the poem and because it pretty much sums up my life!
