{Barbar Hair Tools Giveaway}

I love doing my hair in different ways and have my fair share of styling tools. I find the ones I love not only work well but are functional and save me time. One of my newest must have items is the BARBAR 1900 Tourmaline Cordless Combo. This is exactly what I needed all in one. I curl my hair as often as I straighten it making this item totally perfect for me. I love it!

Not only is it pretty but it is totally functional and a lot of fun to use. It heats up in 2-3 minutes and comes with the rechargeable base. Both the iron and the straightener are 1″. My oldest daughter loves it as well. We can plug in one unit and have two different cordless devices ready to go! I absolutely love that I can take this with me and have it anywhere. It is really convenient. This is the only thing I take with me when I’m away from home!

{bodycology}

I have always really enjoyed pampering products. I am a huge junkie of anything that smells good and finding great products that make you feel good is just as important. I have tried so many different really great products but one of my favorite brands is bodycology! From one wonderful uplifting scent to another I always love the products I get from them. My absolute favorites are their body mists and lotions. I am always impressed with the selection and love the way I feel using bodycology products.

A few of the newest things I have tried are the bodycology®’s Warm & Cozy Sock Set
in Sunshine Daisy, and their Clean Waters Anti-Bacterial Foaming Hand Soap. I must say that I love the sock set and the scent of Daisy Sunshine is amazing. The foaming soap smells so good and leaves my hands really soft! All of their products are great and are very affordable!

{Jenulence Makeup Giveaway}

I am one of those girls that cannot live without their makeup. I have many reasons for my love of makeup but I mostly love the way I look wearing it and most importantly how I feel when I wear it. I feel more confident and put together. I am a makeup junkie and love finding new places to buy my makeup. And with being a busy mom I often make my purchases online. Finding quality makeup that is affordable is always my goal when making a purchase. Recently I had the chance to try some new makeup from a company that I had never tried before.

Jenulence is a great company that you can be confident in purchasing from. Their makeup is handcrafted using synthetic-free high quality natural minerals and cosmetic pigments. I noticed right away how well the makeup stays on. Not only did it have staying power but it also feels great on my skin. I was able to try a few of their products and totally love them.

Their Mineral Makeup Eye Shadow in Matte Black is one of my favorite shadows by far. I can use this to make a great smokey eye. I also mix a little with water and make a really great eyeliner. The color is rich, bold and stays all day long. It feels great on my skin and is so affordable. It is available for $6 and their are many colors to choose from.

I have totally found the prettiest shade of blush. Their Orchid Satin Blush is amazing. I love it and love that it stays all day. It gets used more then anything else in my makeup bag. It feels great on and makes me feel beautiful. It is available at a great price of $10. This is one of my newest must have items. They have a great selection on their site and I cannot wait to try a few more shades.

And one of the most important things I use everyday is my foundation/concealer. I am over the moon about Jenulence Mineral Makeup Foundation. I cannot count the ways that I love it. It is so important when applying makeup to start with a fresh canvas. Their Mineral Foundation feels clean, smooth and most importantly covers my skin evenly and stays all day. {Scunci Bendini Clip}

We recently got a chance to try the Bendini Hair Clip by Scunci. I always love Scunci products and these hair clips are no exception.  Bendini Hair Clips are a round band with a comb like clip at one end. You slide the comb part into your hair, then bend the circle over to secure it into place.  I’ve always been hairstyling-challenged, but these clips are easy to use and very pretty. They really dress up a hairstyle and they hold really well.  You can see a video of how they work here.


I’m looking forward to getting more of these. They offer lots of styles and colors including crystals, metallic, and beaded.  I love the crystal designs, but I think I’m going to get one of the metal designs next.  They even have the scunci “girl” designs that would be adorable for little girls.

{Auric Blends Giveaway}

I love having a variety of different scents that I can choose to wear depending on my mood; so I love finding great smelling perfumes that are affordable.  I was very excited to find Auric Blends perfume oils and solids. They carry a great line of perfume oils, solid perfumes, and incense that are handcrafted with a “combination of exotic, imported perfume ingredients from around the globe.” I recently got the chance to try a few of their fragrances.

The ones I’ve sampled are subtle yet great smelling, so you smell nice, but aren’t leaving an overwhelming wake of perfume behind you. The compliments that I’ve gotten while wearing the perfume oils generally have started along the lines of “Something smells nice. Is that you?”  Noticeable, yet subtle.  I love it.

The perfume oils are in roll on bottles that are easy to carry with you. They have 39 scents in their traditional line and 4 in their naturals collection. There are also 14 fragrances in the solids line which blend the perfume essence with coconut oil and beeswax and come in cute decorative containers. (The solid that I tried cannot be carried with you since the lid sets on top instead of clicking or screwing on, but it is very pretty sitting on the counter)

    

My favorite scents so far are: Chinese Rain which has a musky, yet fresh, clean scent; Divine Opium, which has a unique soft spicy-sweet scent sort of vanilla-like but much more interesting;  and Layla from the Naturals collection, a “woodsy floral” scent, which is floral without being overly sweet.

{Monkey Brains}

Have you ever noticed the lack of hair care products specifically for tweens? It seems that there are “no tears” baby products and products for grown ups with not much in between. Monkey Brains noticed this, and they have developed a new line of products for kids in the 8 to 14 age range.

Younger kids are getting interested in fun styles and looks to express their individuality. To help with this, Monkey Brains has two different gels, two different “glues”, a pomade, a hair refresher and a of course a shampoo and conditioner to help wash out the sticky stuff, lol.  And the products come in fun banana shaped containers.

We have gotten a chance to try the “Crazy Sticky Hair Gel” and the “Twisted Sticky Hair Glue.” My daughter loves them. Both hold her hair in place great. She’s got a spot on top that tends to stick up and this holds in down great without making it overly sticky. Both she and her brother are looking forward to going all out with the hair glue on crazy hair day at school, lol.

I have a huge love of hair accessories. My hair is very long and keeping it up, back or styled is often a problem. I solve that with my mass amount of accessories for my hair. {Conair Hair Brushes}

I use Conair products on my hair for everything from blow drying to styling and even brushing. I have always loved their products and known them to be durable and affordable. We all have known and loved them for their irons and dryers but did you know that Conair also has a line of hair brushes?

Yep they do, and I love them. For everyday use I use my Conair Gelgrips brush.  Its perfect, and with my long hair I do lots of brushing. This brush has a gel grip that conforms to your hand for comfortable styling and brushing. I use this brush on both my daughters long hair, and they love it as well. The flexible base helps prevent breakage. For a more polished look I use the Tourmaline Ceramic Round Brush. This brush uses finely crushed tourmaline to release negative ions into the bristles and barrel. This helps tighten cuticle layers as well as sealing in natural oils.
